To Our Valued Customers:

2008 has been a difficult year for propane consumers as well as propane dealers.  From the price of a barrel of oil to the cost of a gallon of milk, we have all been impacted by the increased “Cost of Everything”.  The effects of these increased costs have forced all of us to make more closely guarded decisions on “How Much?” and “With Whom?” we spend our hard earned money.  We appreciate you choosing Quality Steel as your Valued Partner.

We recently have seen the cost of diesel fuel and plate steel begin to retract from their all time highs as demand slowly gets weaker and the U.S. and world economies slow down.  As a result of the lowering of these input costs and based on our current inventory levels, we have slightly decreased our selling prices over the last 45 days.

Also the Federal Reserve moved today on a key interest rate, and we are reducing our Commonwealth Finance Company’s rates by 1% to better serve our propane tank customers with financial options.  Our new rates as of 11/1/2008 are as follows:
